Applications
Primary wire is suitable as a low-voltage primary wire for use at nominal system voltages 60 volts or less. The PVC insulation provides excellent physical protection in vehicle wiring environments with limited exposure to fluids and the kind of mechanical abuse seen during the operation of cars, boats, trucks, buses, tractors, trailers, etc. Common uses include automotive horn and headlight circuits, gas gauge to fuel sensor, and trailer hitch signaling connections.
Primary Wire is available in 16 and 14 AWG.
Conductors
Insulated conductors: Finely stranded bare copper conductors with PVC insulation. The high-quality insulation resists abrasion, chemicals and moisture, even in a high temperature environment (105°C).
