“Despite the fact that COVID-19 gripped our nation over the past two years, Morgan County has seen continued expansion and job growth. It has the potential for significant economic development, and the Hartselle community is perfectly poised to become a destination for the resulting new business and new residents,” Smallwood said.

Chamber President/CEO Missy Evans said, “Stewart’s personal investment in Hartselle is fueled by his family’s love for this community. He is a ‘family man’ and understands the elements of a community that make it attractive for newcomers to want to live, work, and play here. He is willing to ‘do his part’ in serving Hartselle by lending his strengths in organizational management and leadership to help position Hartselle to be a premier community in North Alabama for relocators.”
