Applications
May be used as service-entrance conductors when installed as specified by the National Electrical Code® (NEC). May be used in wet or dry locations at 90°C.
Conductors
Stranded conductors:
- Compact stranded AA-8000 series fully annealed aluminum alloy.
Insulated conductors:
- Type XHHW-2 conductors. XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). Rated for use up to 90°C in wet or dry locations.
Phase ID:
- Solid colored black and red.
Uninsulated conductor:
- Bare conductor strands are helically wound around two paralleled insulated conductors. Gray, sunlight-resistant PVC jacket over the complete assembly.
